No one can predict a dental emergency. When a dental emergency arises during office hours,
we will make every effort to see you immediately.
If a dental emergency occurs when we are not in the office, and you are a patient of record, you may contact Dr. Sines, Jr. through his cell phone: (423) 400-5080 or by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please contact 911.
Dr. Sines, Jr. is usually available to see emergency patients on the weekends or holidays. There is an after-hours fee associated with the after-hours emergency office visit.
Maintaining a healthy smile by flossing, brushing, visiting your dentist regularly, and following through with recommended dental treatment will minimize those weekend and holiday “surprise” toothaches and tooth fractures.
Here are some simple precautions you can take to avoid accident and injury to your teeth:
– Wear a mouthguard when participating in sports or recreational activities – Avoid chewing ice, popcorn kernels and hard candy, all of which can crack a tooth – Use scissors, NEVER your teeth to cut things
